Choosing to go into this field, and going to Kable Academy, was honestly the best decision I have ever made.1Students may begin the program in “Undeclared” status however, they must select a specialization by the time they have earned 60 semester credit hoursĢAs part of this program, one complimentary laptop is provided to students enrolled in the Associate in Cybersecurity and Networking, Associate in Information Technology and Networking, Associate in Engineering Technology, Bachelor’s of Information Technology and Networking, Bachelor’s of Software Development, Bachelor’s of Engineering Technology, Bachelor’s of Network and Communications Management and Bachelor’s of Computer Information Systems. After working for a few years as a TA, I was promoted as an instructor and also the head of IT Support at the school. Eventually, after working at my first job out of Kable Academy, I was offered a job as a TA at Kable Academy. The skills I learned where more than I needed to just get started in IT. When I completed it, the career services helped me find a job, and when I entered the job force, I stuck out from the rest of new hires I was with. The labs we have gave us all a hands on experience. He taught me how to do more set up a "simple network", he also taught us ways to make it secure. He taught me how to optimize my computer to work at the most optimal level. He taught me, more than just what any article in cybersecurity. I had the fortune of having a great instructor, who has been on the field for so long. This course took me 3 months to complete. I came into Kable Academy, not knowing anything about computers, let alone cyber security.

I would not have had as good of a time in this program if I had not also invested myself in my fellow classmates. I highly recommend this program to those who are willing to put the work in, are wanting to make a career change, and are wanting to connect with others through the process. The TE staff will keep working hard for their students to make sure they get a job - but you do tend to get out what you put in. The current job market is tough, but I was lucky enough to receive an offer through the program's matchmaking a month after graduation. We target your area of need to save time and minimize coststhere is no need to attend an entire class if only specific content is required. The pathway staff is always hard at work trying to weed out more opportunities for TE grads. Options range from one-on-one sessions to classes for larger groups. The instructing staff is extremely knowledgable and will always go the extra mile to make sure you are learning and understanding the concepts. It's hard to believe how much I was able to learn over the 14 weeks. Not only does their staff want you to professionally succeed, they care about their students as well. My time at Tech Elevator was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
